Dartford - A Rough & Awkward Garden!
This garden was completely overgrown with bramble and ivy. Bramble is a particularly vicious thing... I have been 'got' by it plenty of times, once in the eye, which was not too nice. Brambles and pyracantha... two things in life to which you must show respect! I wear headgear during the initial stages of any bramble re-moving operation now. The first thing we had to do was clear the steps, which were covered with grass and other debris.
It took two of us a total of 24 man-hours to sort the first level of this garden out. Underneath the brambles, we uncovered virtually a whole TREE tipped over the fence by the previous neighbours. We had to chop this up and shred as much of it as possible. Our client hired a skip for the waste!
