Summer 2003. Look at that ugly great buddleia! My pruning saw
was just itching to chop it down. Heh heh.

North-East bed, roses, purple sage, feverfew.

Lots of things waiting to flower, including rudbeckia, alyssum
etc.

Every garden has its surprises, this year we have had lots of wild
poppies, just beautiful lipstick shades. These amidst the stock
and alyssum I sowed. Same bed as above.

...flowering at last, and fair game for the local squirrels.

In about a week this bed will bloom into a mass of rudbeckias...

On a rare sunny day in what I am mockingly referring to as the
"Summer of 2004".... This year a lot of the flowers
have mildew due to the wet weather. Grr!
